The most beautiful app I developed is an easy to use web access to Vault Professional Items, BOM's and documents in conjunction wit our Organice Vault web services. So the next option is to make use of Microsoft PowerShell, which I was not familiar with until last year. My first choice for creating Vault apps would be Python, but to make use of to the Vault API this doesn't make sense.
